The short version: your checklists are private, your email is only for signing in, analytics are cookieless, and nothing is ever sold. Here are the specifics.
What I store
- Your checklists. The checklists you create, so they sync across your devices once you sign in. Before you sign in, they live only in your browser.
- Your email address. Used to send your sign-in link or code. That's it — no newsletter, no marketing email, no upsell drip.
- Supporter records. If you donate or subscribe, I keep the minimum needed to grant your branding unlock. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; I never see or store them.
- Feedback and donation messages. If you send feedback or leave a supporter note, I store what you wrote. A supporter note is only ever shown publicly if you opt in, and it's reviewed first.
Where it's stored
Your account data and checklists are stored with Supabase, my database and authentication provider, in a United States region. Uploaded logos are kept in a private storage bucket that only you can access, served through short-lived links.
Private by default
Your checklists are private to your account. Nothing becomes visible to anyone else unless you explicitly create a share link, and even then the link is unlisted — not indexed by search engines and not guessable. Unshare at any time and the link stops working.
Analytics
I use cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and templates are useful. There's no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no consent banner because there's nothing invasive to consent to. I never sell or rent your data to anyone, for any purpose.
Export & deletion
You can export a full copy of your data at any time, and you can delete your account, which permanently removes your saved checklists. If you'd like help with either, email hello@flightlist.app.
