These documents are for reference and study. Editions, serial ranges, and revision levels vary, and none of these copies carries your airplane's weight and balance or equipment list. The current POH or AFM in your aircraft governs every flight.

DA40 / DA40-180 (2001–2010)1 doc
Lycoming IO-360-M1A, 180 hp, and a composite airframe with its own temperature and repair limitations. G1000 arrived partway through the run.

DA40 NG (2011–present)3 docs
Austro AE300 diesel on jet-A with a single-lever power control and a FADEC. Start, cold-weather, and failure procedures have nothing in common with the Lycoming version.
